Opened in 1985, the Military Museum of Southern New England sports more than 10,000 artifacts representing the illustrious history of U.S. armed services. Visitors can view antique turrets, guns, tanks, bombs, uniforms, and other memorabilia, all while interacting with a friendly and knowledgeable volunteer staff. The museum lies in the center of town, near Parks Pond.
