TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

My fiance made an appointmnet to have this doctor look at her jaw. She was referred by her dentist. The day of the appointment he cancelled for reasons not given. The next time she could see him was more than a month later. Now mind you, she waited a month in a lot of pain to see this guy. The day of the appointment AGAIN she gets a call. This time she is told she cant come in because she doesn't have a referral. Her insurance changed since the last appointment and because of that she couldnt go to her same dentist because he ddidnt accept the insurance (CIGNA). The idiots at this office called her old dentist and they said she is no longer a patient there fore wouldnt give her a referral regardless of teh fact that she ALREADY WAS REFFERRED TO THIS DOCTOR BUT HE CANCELLED! Now she has a PPO which doesnt require refferals. So I called them and I was upset. I made it clear I was calling on her bahalf and that I was her fiance.When I asked them how come this whole referral thing wasnt brought up before. I mean they only had a MONTH. Their excuse was that the person who took the appointment doeant work there anymore. WHAT? Are you kidding me? They hung up on me. To HANG up on someone who is upset with a legitimate gripe? They could not have been more unprofessional, less accomodating or more arrogant. Is this the type of doctor you want to have working on you? None the less, I am going to share my experience with this doctor with everyone I know. Word of mouth is the best or in this case, worst advertising. Think twice before going to this doctor.
